Tight Access and Hard Picks

Specialty Lifts.
On Schedule, Safety First.

Patriot Lifting walks the specialty site, plans the swing path over rooflines and obstructions, confirms ground bearing on lawns or tight driveways, and matches the crane to the access and the load.

Specialty Work

We handle backyard swim spa drops, modular home sections, mobile home moves, residential tree removals, cell tower top sections, container placements, and the specialty work that requires careful access and a creative pick plan.

Areas We Serve

Standard dispatch covers metro Atlanta, the Henry / Spalding / Newton / Rockdale county belt around our Jenkinsburg yard, down I-75 to Macon, and east into the Athens market. Multi-state hauls extend coverage into Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina when the project calls for it.

Fleet Capacity

Cranes from 15 to 275 tons across all-terrain, mobile, rough-terrain, boom truck, and carry deck categories. Every crane operated by our crew.

How We Work

How a Specialty Lift Works

Every specialty pick starts with the site walk. From there the lift sequences with the homeowner's or contractor's access window and the obstacles on site.

Site Walk

We confirm crane positioning, ground bearing on lawns or driveways, overhead clearances, and the swing path over rooflines, trees, and structures.

Pick Plan

Load weight confirmed, rigging selected, and the lift sequence agreed with the homeowner or contractor.

Mobilization

The crane sized to the lift travels road-legal from Jenkinsburg. Outrigger pads sized to soft ground when needed.

The Set

The crew runs a pre-lift brief, makes the pick, and stays on site until the load is set and the homeowner or contractor signs off.

Frequently Asked Questions on Specialty Lifts

Common questions on Patriot Lifting specialty lifts. Get in touch if you do not see your answer here.

Can you set a swim spa in my backyard?

Yes. Swim spa and hot tub placement is a regular specialty pick. We walk the site to confirm crane positioning, the swing path over your house, and ground bearing on the lawn or driveway.

What about mobile home moves?

Mobile home setting and re-setting is part of our regular specialty work. Crane positioning, foundation alignment, and pier coordination get planned before the truck arrives.

Can you remove trees with a crane?

Yes. Crane-assisted tree removal in tight-access sites is a regular specialty. We coordinate with the tree crew on rigging, swing path, and load staging in the yard or street.

How tight of an access can you handle?

Specialty picks often happen in tight quarters. We walk the site early, identify access constraints, and plan crane positioning, mat placement, and swing path around them. If we can fit, we can pick.

Do you place shipping containers and storage units?

Yes. Container drops to grade, on platforms, or in tight backyards are part of the regular mix. Crane sized to the container weight and the access angle.

Can you do specialty lifts after hours or on weekends?

Yes. After-hours and weekend specialty lifts get scheduled through dispatch. Most homeowners book on weekends; commercial specialty work often happens off-hours to keep traffic clear.
