Job Description

Patriot Lifting is seeking a motivated, self-driven Sales Representative to help grow our mobile crane service business throughout Georgia and the surrounding region.

This position is ideal for someone who knows how to build relationships, identify opportunities, and follow up professionally and on time. The right person is comfortable talking with both office decision-makers and field personnel, knows how to ask the right questions, gather the correct lift details, and communicate clearly with customers and internal operations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • General understanding of mobile cranes and crane service operations
  • Ability to read and understand crane load charts at a practical sales level
  • Understanding of key lift planning factors: load weight, radius, boom length, hook height, site access, and ground conditions
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work without constant supervision
  • Professional appearance and attitude when dealing with customers
  • Ability to build trust with contractors, project managers, and field personnel
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer and email skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in crane rental, rigging, heavy equipment, construction, HVAC, industrial services, logistics, or outside sales
  • Existing relationships with contractors, HVAC companies, industrial facilities, or construction companies
  • Familiarity with mobile hydraulic cranes, boom trucks, rigging, lift planning, or jobsite coordination
  • Experience using CRM, estimating, scheduling, or customer management software
Responsibilities
  • Generate new crane service opportunities through outbound sales, customer visits, email outreach, phone calls, networking, and follow-up
  • Build relationships with contractors, HVAC companies, industrial plants, maintenance teams, project managers, and construction professionals
  • Gather key lift information from customers: load weight, working radius, hook height, site address, access conditions, and project schedule
  • Review job opportunities and communicate clearly with operations to determine the appropriate crane and job requirements
  • Understand and discuss basic mobile crane capabilities, limitations, and load chart considerations
  • Follow up on estimates, open opportunities, and past customers
  • Maintain accurate notes on prospects, leads, customer preferences, and project details
  • Represent Patriot Lifting professionally in the field, over the phone, and by email
  • Grow repeat customer accounts and long-term business relationships
Compensation
  • Base salary: $35,000 to $150,000 per year
  • Commission: 3 to 15 percent of each qualified job brought in by the sales representative
  • Benefits available after 90 days of employment
