Refinery and Petrochemical Contractors Across Metro Atlanta Work With Us

We work with refinery contractors and turnaround teams on vessel and exchanger replacements, structural sets, and the equipment placements that come with petrochemical operations.

Services

Five service lines run in-house from the Jenkinsburg yard: operated crane rental, rigging, heavy hauling, specialty lifts, and secured storage. One dispatch line for all five, so the schedule and the equipment stay aligned across the job.

Areas We Serve

Standard dispatch covers metro Atlanta, the Henry / Spalding / Newton / Rockdale county belt around our Jenkinsburg yard, down I-75 to Macon, and east into the Athens market. Multi-state hauls extend coverage into Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina when the project calls for it.

Fleet Capacity

Cranes from 15 to 275 tons across all-terrain, mobile, rough-terrain, boom truck, and carry deck categories. Every crane operated by our crew.

Lift Planning

How a Petrochemical Lift Works

Every refinery pick starts with the site walk, permit review, and turnaround plan. From there the lift sequences with refinery safety and operations.

Site Walk

We confirm crane positioning, ground bearing inside refinery zones, hot-work and gas-testing requirements, and the access route through plant operations.

Pick Plan

Load weights confirmed, rigging selected, hot-work permits and FRC requirements addressed, and the lift sequence agreed with refinery safety.

Mobilization

The crane sized to the lift travels road-legal from Jenkinsburg, scheduled to the turnaround window.

The Set

The crew runs a pre-lift brief, makes the pick within the permitted window, and stays on site until the work is complete and refinery safety signs off.

Schedule a Petrochemical Lift

Send the load weight, refinery location, and target turnaround date. We will quote the crane and lock in the schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions From Refinery Contractors

Common questions on Patriot Lifting crane work. Get in touch if you do not see your answer here.

Can you work during a refinery turnaround?

Yes. Most petrochemical lifts happen during scheduled turnarounds. We plan mobilization to land before the turnaround window opens and clear out before the unit restarts.

Do you handle hot-work permit requirements?

Yes. We coordinate hot-work permits, fire watch, and gas testing with refinery safety before the crane mobilizes. Permit-required picks get sequenced inside the approved window.

What about FRC and PPE?

Our crew carries FRC, hard hats, safety glasses, and the gas-monitor gear required for refinery work. Site-specific PPE requirements get confirmed before mobilization.

Can you handle pre-job safety reviews?

Yes. We attend refinery pre-job safety meetings and provide the certifications, lift plans, and rigging documentation refinery safety requires.
