Telecom and Tower Contractors Across Metro Atlanta Work With Us

We work with tower contractors on monopole and lattice tower erection, antenna swaps, jib extensions, and the equipment placements that come with telecom builds.

Services

Five service lines run in-house from the Jenkinsburg yard: operated crane rental, rigging, heavy hauling, specialty lifts, and secured storage. One dispatch line for all five, so the schedule and the equipment stay aligned across the job.

Areas We Serve

Standard dispatch covers metro Atlanta, the Henry / Spalding / Newton / Rockdale county belt around our Jenkinsburg yard, down I-75 to Macon, and east into the Athens market. Multi-state hauls extend coverage into Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina when the project calls for it.

Fleet Capacity

Cranes from 15 to 275 tons across all-terrain, mobile, rough-terrain, boom truck, and carry deck categories. Every crane operated by our crew.

Lift Planning

How a Cell Tower Lift Works

Every tower pick starts with the site walk and the reach calculation. From there the lift sequences with the tower crew and the access window.

Site Walk

We confirm crane positioning, ground bearing on remote pad sites, overhead clearances, and the reach to the tower top.

Pick Plan

Load weights confirmed, rigging selected, jib configuration set, and the lift sequence agreed with the tower crew.

Mobilization

The crane sized to the reach travels road-legal from Jenkinsburg. Outrigger pads sized to the ground.

The Set

The crew runs a pre-lift brief, makes the pick to the tower, and stays on site until the section is set and the tower crew signs off.

Schedule a Cell Tower Lift

Send the section weight, tower location, and target date. We will quote the crane and lock in the schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions From Telecom Contractors

Common questions on Patriot Lifting crane work. Get in touch if you do not see your answer here.

What reach do I need for a tower top section?

Depends on tower height and section weight. Most monopole top sections in metro Atlanta run with an 80 to 190-ton all-terrain crane. Taller towers or heavier sections push to a 275-ton.

Can you handle remote tower pad sites?

Yes. We confirm ground bearing on unpaved pads, bring mats and cribbing as needed, and plan the crane setup around access road constraints.

Do you handle jib extensions?

Yes. We bring jib configurations sized to the reach required and the load chart for the lift. Jib setup is part of the pick plan.

How far in advance should I book a tower lift?

Most tower picks need a week or more of lead time so we can confirm the reach calculation, the pad access, and the crane configuration. Call dispatch and we will tell you what is possible.
