Most cranes are stationary. Put out the outriggers… lift a bunch of weight. Move it where it needs to go.

For our 110-ton cranes, this can be quite a ways.

However, other cranes are “pick and carry” cranes. This means that they can pick up an item and then move with it!

This is really common in the construction world using track cranes. And in the industrial world with carry-deck cranes! We are not currently involved in the track crane market, but we love us some carry-decks! Give us a call if you think a pick-and-carry crane might be right for you!
