What is a crane operator?

In short: the person operating the crane!

Seems straightforward enough, right?

This is a career path. There are certifications through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. (It really rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?)

The NCCCO is responsible for getting folks certified to operate a crane. That way they know the laws, know how to lift safely, and know how to get your job done!

Check out the NCCCO website if you want to know more. Otherwise know that all of our operators are certified, and that’s generally something that you don’t have to worry about!

Definitely make sure you have a certified operator working your job site though! It makes everything go smoother!
